Collection: Pahada
Inspired by the stark, high-altitude landscapes of Leh and Ladakh, this collection explores the quiet drama of barren valleys, faceted mountains, and mineral-rich terrains.
The work draws from the region’s raw, elemental beauty—where vastness, stillness, and subtle shifts in color create a deeply immersive visual experience.
Using the Japanese technique of Kurinuki, each piece is carved from a solid block of clay, allowing form to emerge through subtraction. This process echoes the natural forces that shape the land itself—erosion, time, and silence—resulting in organic, imperfect forms that celebrate texture, depth, and irregularity.
Blurring the line between functional and decorative, the works in this series are both objects and expressions—capturing the essence of a landscape that is at once rugged and meditative.
