Collection: Manhattan

Manhattan is the cultural melting pot of the world. More than 800 languages are spoken in this grand city. It has the ability to work with, and seamlessly absorb,  individuals from different countries, cultures, gender orientation, talent and ambition.

The city has been my inspiration to mix and match crazy colour combinations in the hope of capturing the electricity that is Manhattan itself. At some junctures, as many as even 75 colours have coalesced into a single Nerikomi slab. This series also required the most experimentation at the backend since the more colours used, the more possibility of joints and cracks during the firing. . The result is a humble effort to bring the vibrancy of this electric city to your dinner table.
