मृद्, a lump of clay!

A lump of clay at first glance is just a simple material, but when we add colors to it and then arrange and rearrange it we can get mesmerizing patterns. Each piece in this limited-edition series is made with a touch of this fluid chequered pattern. These patterns are then shaped into different shapes to give a unique character to the pieces made.

The fluid checks represent the innate nature of clay, which is moldable when raw and wet and as set as a stone when fully vitrified.

In this particular piece we have added a matt handle to highlight the pattern slab in its full raw beauty. We have also added a fun crystal glaze on the inside to add a flow to the piece.
