The momentum of the mind is a dangerous thing. The exterior of this handbuilt ceramic form captures the relentless, dizzying speed of a mind in overdrive. Blues, whites, and blacks are pulled into a tight, continuous swirl—a physical manifestation of overthinking. From the outside, the spinning haze can feel hypnotic, masking the true weight of the thoughts as they blur together into a chaotic storm.
But a mind cannot sustain a continuous spiral without consequence.
The severe, jagged break at the crest serves as a stark warning, cracking the turbulent surface to reveal the heavy, lightless black resting inside. This piece is a physical reminder of the mind's fragility: if you allow yourself to fall too deeply into the swirl of your own thoughts, the momentum inevitably pulls you into the dark. It is an artifact of caution—a call to break the cycle and find stillness before the void takes over.
